Jasmin Baird, RP

Registered Psychotherapist

Jasmin Baird, Registered Psychotherapist

Hello, my name is Jasmin Baird (she/her), and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I understand how scary and difficult it can be to reach out for therapy, whether it's your first experience or you are trying to find a new therapist. It's important to feel comfortable and able to connect. I try my best to make sure I am creating a comfortable environment for my clients where they can feel safe to share and heal.

After completing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brock University in 2013, I went on to Mohawk College in 2015, where I completed a graduate program in Concurrent Disorders. From there I worked in the non-profit sector for four years, working primarily with substance abuse clients until 2018, before working in private practice.

I value the therapeutic relationship and have experience in many different areas of therapy. I take an attachment-based approach and pull from multiple evidence-based therapeutic approaches including internal family systems therapy (IFS), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), mindfulness and meditation to help my clients learn to cope and overcome challenges. I have a particular interest in working with clients who have loved ones living with borderline personality disorder (BPD).

I provide a complimentary 30-minute initial consultation for new clients where we can meet to make sure we are a good fit to work together. I offer virtual and in-person session at both the Burlington and Dundas locations. Let’s, laugh, cry and grow together on your journey towards self-discovery and healing.

Jasmin is not currently accepting new clients.

Lip

Lip accompanies Jasmin to both our Dundas and Burlington locations. He is a gentle giant who will happily greet you at the door and then sleep (or snuggle) for the remainder of your session.
